The province of Şırnak witnessed heavy clashes between YPS/YPS-JIN and state forces that retreated from İsmetpaşa neighborhood after the collapse of a building they got in yesterday evening.

The province of Şırnak witnessed heavy clashes between YPS/YPS-JIN and state forces that retreated from İsmetpaşa neighborhood after the collapse of a building they got in yesterday evening. 5 members of Turkish special operations units died in the collapsed building and their corpses remained under the debris for some time.

The neighborhoods of Vakıfkent and Tekzer were scene to fierce clashes after the retreat of Turkish forces from İsmetpaşa neighborhood. A number of ambulances were dispatched to the area of clashes, and these were later seen to be heading towards Şırnak Public Hospital.

The state forces' bombardment against Bahçelievler, Yeni, Dicle, Cumhuriyet, İsmetpaşa and Gazipaşa neighborhoods continued throughout the night and left many houses on fire.

Alongside the bombardment, the neighborhoods were also raked by A-4 weapons stationed on amoured vehicles of Turkish forces. Clashes erupted at separate locations in these neighborhoods.

In the meantime, Turkish UAV and helicopter activity was observed over Şırnak city center and foothills of Mount Cudi.

No precise information could be obtained yet as to the results of clashes that lasted all night long.

The aggression of Turkish forces and fighting in the city continues.
